Maokai reveals that the Black Mist has formed into walls protecting Thresh's fortress and offers to help clear the path if they can cleanse his roots. The champions would battle before Ahri intervenes and clears the air. Soon Braum, Illaoi, Miss Fortune, Pyke, and Yasuo would arrive on the island in search of Ahri and Gangplank, they would encounter Maokai as well, but he mistakes them for enemies. She learns that he was once friends with the Vesani of the island and that Gangplank has allied himself with Thresh. In Grey Harbor, she tracked down the Jagged Hooks and interrogated them, learning that Gangplank has taken the sunstone to the Shadow Isles.Īhri travels to the Shadow Isles in pursuit of the sunstone, she eventually leaves behind her cloak in the forest and encounters Maokai. Ahri later has a nightmare about how she consumed the essence of her lover many years ago, fearing the same fate would befall Yasuo, she leaves for Grey Harbor herself. There Yasuo deduces that Ahri is a vastaya and she reveals that she wishes to learn more about her tribe. Deciding to search for the pirate tomorrow, the two would stay the night at a local tavern. They would search the black markets of the port city and learn that a Vesani sunstone was recently purchased by a member of the Jagged Hooks and that they were headed towards Grey Harbor. Yasuo is frustrated he does not know more about his employer, but Ahri assures that he will learn more when the time is right. They took a boat and left Weh'le.Īhri and Yasuo would arrive in Bilgewater searching for more answers about the Vesani. As both are looking for paths outside of Ionia, he would be perfect to escort her. The vastaya later focused her attention on Turasi, Paskoma's spouse, and charmed him into allowing warriors into their tea house.Įventually, Ahri would find Yasuo and persuade him to take them to Bilgewater. The girl would mistake her vastayan appearance as a costume mimicking the Gatekeeper mythological character. Ahri insisted on staying, but respected the woman's wishes and would not bring trouble into her house.Īhri would later discuss with Satokka, Paskoma's granddaughter, about the legends of the Spirit Blossom. She overheard a conversation about warriors in the village and became interested in finding one, but was repressed by Paskoma, the tea house owner, who did not wish anyone dangerous in the inn and recommended her to find somewhere else to stay.
